PSU +12V Problem

did you try any other programs like everest? I think you should go with the bios though.
If your 12 volt leg was zero, your computer would not run. I agree with freakdiablo that you should go with the bios. I don't use speedfan (I'm still using MBM5), but I would guess that your 12 volt monitoring point is not reading the right sensor. Try going to the speedfan setup and try other monitoring points.

Do you have a multimeter? Thats the only method I trust for acuratley testing voltages.

i just thought it was empty, cos it would always show only "field" and not "value"
so i never looked harder
anyway, is that more accurate? than the mobo manufacturers specific program? or the bios?

they pull from the same place, so they are the same reading

DMM is going to be the most accurate. AFAIK the problem with onboard sensors is usually not software-related.
