i only have 4 rigs , swmpthng, greenmachine,starr1, and martinandburke. however, inmy profile under computers it shows swmpthng twice so in boinc stats and such i'm listed with others with 5 rigs and such, it does not really matter to me but stat keepers and folks like that might care a little , just wondering how i can fix it without losing wu credits, here is what i'm talking about::bang head
the two swmpthng rigs are the same rig. i think it happened when i was optimizing. i wouldn,t say a thing about it if it was reporting double wu's and rac but it's not so it is just a nuciance, how 'bout that, spell chek sud i spelt al my wurds rite!

You should be able to combine those machines by viewing one machine profile for 'swmpthng', at the bottom of that profile, will be a link to merge computers. Click that link, and it should give you the other machine in the list to put a checkmark in a box to combine. You will not loose any points, but the combined total will be added together. Hope this helps. :)

What are the chances that you reinstalled OS on that machine and now its being seen as a new one or somthing.
Just a thought.

same machine, same os, it worked, but now i need one ,one more thing resolved , i just sold my martin and burke machine , how do i remove it ? i want to save my rac and wu's first so i guess i merge it with swmpthng 1st then detache but where is detache( pronounced dee-ta-shey ) bet you did not think i new any of those fansy youropeein wurds did ya? :)

Follow the same instructions as above, except instead of using merge host, click delete host. I am fairly certain though, that the host computer has to be inactive for 30 days. If so, you have a short wait ahead of you. Sorry.

if i understand correctly.......

i need to not download any work units, go ahead and crunch the wu's already download(not required but i can do it) and leave rig offline until right column is 0.00, then delete rig not merge.is that correct?

may not need to do it anyway, new owner is willing to crunch with rig for our team, i could just leave as is and keep collecting rac for me. :santa: i'm going to install and setup sah on all rigs i sell as long as owners are alright with it.

Sounds like a plan. I run SETI as a stability test on all the rigs I build for other people. Thus usually like the idea enough to keep it running for a while.
