I think the resolution matters when it comes to gaming.... and since 1366X768 isnt big by any means... you should be fine.

But dont quote me on that.

I've got a 2407 and a 7900GTX and I dont have problems with games @ 1920X1200.

Thats what i thought, then i was thinking something about HD gaming (which i thought meant HDTV's) then i thought something about computer LCD's and what not and then i thought im tired g'nite.

I dont think that the 7900gtx has pixel clocks so you won't be able to output 1366 x 768 you will only get it to go up to 1360 x 768 other then that you should be fine.

You'll probably be setting the resolution to 1280x720 (720P) as that is usually the resolution that is supported. I would say that 2 7900 GTXs is overkill for that resolution. I run this 7900GT at 1280x720 in every game (every game that supports widescreen that is) with all the highest settings. In FEAR I get an average FPS of around 65, maybe 70, and every other game runs flawlessly. I would recommend getting one 7900 GTX now if you really need to upgrade and getting a DX 10 card when they come down a bit in price. Or just buy one 8800GTS now if you can afford it. It will perform close to SLI 7900's and be cheaper.

you should be fine with one card at that res

i have a 7900 gt ko supperclocked overclocked to 640/1800 and runs all my games at 1680x1050 fine
