Wink OCZ Memeory and Asus P5B-E Motherboard

Will there be any problems with using OCZ EL DDR2 PC2-6400 Platinum XTC with the ASUS P5B-E motherboard?

Whats the rated voltage on the Ram?

When did you buy the motherboard?

I believe memory issues were only an issure with older BIOS' on the board, if you have an updated bios you should be fine.

my mobo gets 400mhz easy so i am sure you will get an easy 50 percent overclock. Let me warn you now the ram timming is sorta hiding, look under north bridge and disable the first two options. (took me a while to find it)

Yeah, you'll most likely get the later revision of that board; atleast, hope you did. If for some reason you do end up getting the older board, you'll want to mod your vdimm so you can get more than 2.1v to your RAM. 2.1v is the limit in the older boards BIOS.
