Trouble unlocking my XP

I followed the directions in the Tom's Hardware article. I used superglue and a conductive pen. I cant change anything but the stock fsp settings (100/100 or 133/133). I still dont have the extra settings in bios(i'm using the the overclocking bios for my mb). Can anyone give me some ideas on what to check? All the connections look clean to me.

Athlon XP1800+
ECS K7S5A mb (sept11 version bios from OC Workbench)
512meg PC2400
Geforce 3 235/540

Did you give the L1 dots a light sanding? They have a thin layer covering them that will prevent good conductivity.
