Yesterday I could talk to everyone through vent and CS:S fine and today nothing. Have any suggestions? Go through every possible troubleshoot because Ive tried everything and still dont know whats up.

P.S. Its a Logitech Precision and the mute is not on.

do you have a spare mic? if so try that and see if it changes anything. That'll tell u if the problem is indeed with the mic in your headset or if it is elsewhere

Yea I tried it with another mic and that works alright but the headset itself is broken so I cant use that one. Anyone suggest any gaming headsets with mics?

The medusa gamer 5.1 is very expensive and fragile in my experiance, but the best hands down for games and has awsome bass that will actually vibrate your ear wax lose. Very comfortable, infact never uncomfortable, and they have a good replacement policy though, i'm on my third pair.

I keep a steelsound 5Hv2 around as a back up for when I send the medusa back for new ones when it breaks. This one is a better headset than most others I've ever had for the money.
