Hi all,

I finally bought a decent processor! A new 6000+ 90nm.

It runs pretty fast at the stock 3Ghz but me being me i tried to overclock it.

Could get is 1Mhz faster than the 3Ghz without it BSODing. Turned out to be my ram, so I got some decent stuff in it and managed 3300mhz on stock volts (3.25).

now, I can not get it over 3300 at all, won't budge without a nice BSOD for me.

Anyone got any ideas? Temps are in the high 20's / low thirties and don't exceed 35'c under prime load. Oh and at 3300 it's 24hr prime stable.

Thanks

Oops sorry my bad.

Voltage : 1.325, not 3.25 lol.

I'm using the stock AMD heatpipe cooler with some AS5. But my ambient temps are around 12 - 15 degrees in here, with two case fans and the side off 24/7

Thanks

Lucky you o.o I hope you're warm xP

Have you tried dropping the mem multi to 3x or giving the chipset volts a bump?

well they do have walls, my s939 cpu ran 2.8 solid as can be with 1.39v and now at 3.0 with 1.53-54 is still unstable, dual prime fails at 32 minutes. but im using it everyday at this voltage no bsod yet. its hit 63c once or twice so i cant go much farther with the voltage even on water
