Duno if that will help but i reli wont to overclock it now a rigged up a watercooling sytem and it load temps only 28 - 31 ive had a go with ClockGen but it cant detect my sytem and i cant seem to set it i was wonding if there was a bios hack that could unlock the overclock fet

any help would be very grateful many thanks Tom

What you need to do is find out what kind of PLL you have, here is a link to their site:

http://www.cpuid.com/clockgen.php

You'll have to open the case and look at the motherboard to find the part.


The only problem with overclocking this motherboard is that it isn't made to overclock, I'd say you would be lucky to get a 10% overclock. If you really want to push your speeds and your chip, you need to invest in a different motherboard ;)

My mobo is a 661GX-M7 Rev 1.1

i looked and tryed ICS 9501XX SiS 6xx

but when i move the clock speed up and apply my pc just locks up so if you could help i would very grateful

How far did you move it? You should only do 1-3 mhz at a time.

i moved it like 1Mhz to try it when i click apply it just fooze i think its the rong PLL so it looks like i need a new mobo can you recommand any that would be good for overclocking
