Hi, just wondering if anyone here can help me.

I have a Packard Bell imedia computer (not amazing but does the job). It currently has one 400GB hdd in, with 2 partitions. I am looking into buying a 37GB WD Raptor HDD, to install the OS on, then have the larger HDD for all my games and music.

As it is a Packard bell, it had windows xp already installed, it has a recovery console to reinstall windows on the current hard drive, but how would I go about using it to install windows on a new HDD? would i just plug in the new hdd and press the recovery option?

Thanks in advance for your help
