I haven't been keeping up with the times so I'm not sure if theres any new processors coming out? I'm going to be purchasing a laptop and I'll hold off if theres a new mobile chip coming out.

Nothing due out from Intel in the immediate future. Peryn 45nm processors is next and I'm eagerly awaiting it. Don't think it'll be available until early next year.

The extreme versions of Peryn may be availible for desktop by mid to late q4, mainstream versions are slated for q1 2008. Have seen nothing about laptop versions.
