hey guys,
I bought a KA7 about 2 weeks ago...

and when I lapped my cpu I discovered my 750 tbird was actually an 850 core...

my first goal is buying the board was cuz of the AGP 4x and the pc133 support hoping for great 'stock' performance...
(and windows wont even load in 4x and XP didn't like the chipset much till I had to manually set the agp drive strength)

well on my old board I got my tbird upto 9.5 multplier
on this one it only hits 9, It wont post at 9.5 on any voltage..

and speaking of voltages they are all whack on the board..

sometimes it seems the I/O and Vcore are inversly related...
and at certain I/O's I can't raise my Vcore up..
eg. at 3.4 Vcore max is 1.8 at 3.5 it's 1.9

so to feed the cpu more voltage I hafta raise I/O and then it starts goin back and forth...
next thing I know I'm at 3.7 and 2 volts... which is rediculous...

and another thing, which FSB do i use?
I find if I use the plus Fsb WCPUID and sandra get retarded and can't detect right...but I seem to go higher with it..

and these CPU pull up strength and Drive strength? do I just set them to 0?

sometimes it'll be rock stable in Prime95 and then go retarded in 3dmark2001...

I know it's the board.. cuz I've seen well over a ghz on the cpu...

and that was before my lapping and polishing which dropped it another 4-5 C

hell I even went at removed teh northbridge HS, cleaned all the glue off of it, LAPPED it, and used ASII...

this board is turning more into a headache then anything else

someone guide me!!!
