Alrighty I know in the past a while ago actually I heard something that there was issues with the component feed into the minitor with HD signals.

Going to be using a X360 on this so curious if there would be issues with doing this running at 720P or 1080i. If I must I can get the VGA cable but just curious.

I ended up going to Best Buy and chucking out $70 a pop on Psyclone cables for my 360 (VGA Cable) and my Wii (Component Cable):

Yes, they are expensive, but they're 12' long, wrapped in a very durable plastic mesh, and the plugs are gold connectors and are VERY solid, and almost 100% metal. I got a friend up here at my school with essentially the same monitor as mine, and the Microsoft VGA cable, and there was a very noticeable difference between the two at 1080p resolutions (less noise, mostly). But again, it's up to you, and your budget, and how nit-picky you are about quality.
