at work we get frequent timeouts and such due to maybe either the webserver on Microsoft's end, or perhaps our IP/ID blocking it?

There has to be another way to disable that without installing software to do it.

I've tried suggested registry entries via google searching, but i was un successful. then again, you don't have to really "install" the software, its a program you run and hit the button.

I'm sure it does the same thing via registry, but i don't know how the program operates :)
