Hello all...

i am trying to overclock my processor...tried at 833(111*7.5) with default voltage...works fine in windows...but as soon as i play my games....it freezes...any suggestions about how to fix this....??

Are you running at default voltage? If so perhaps upping it a bit will help.

Reduce the FSB as that puts strain on all devices.
Try increasing the multiplier:

8 x 108 = 864MHz from a 750 - not bad.

My Duron 750 runs solid at 133x7.5 with voltage all the way up at 1.85.

This is on an ECS K7S5A, so fsb overclocking was my only option, and it works great!

Give that Duron of yours more voltage, and keep it cool.

it took a lot of voltage to get my duron 700 over 850. after doing a voltage mod i now run stable at 999 Mhz (142x7). Ive pushed the voltage as high as 2.3 volts but the temps get too hot.
