8800gts(g92) memory question

Someone told me that the 8800gts is now coming out with different memory chips. Newer chips having a more expandable o/c limit.

I'm looking into replacing my old (g80) core with a g92 core.

Didn't know if anyone has heard about this and if there is a way of knowing which memory chips I will be receiving (ex. serial #'s ect.)

Newer cards have Samsung chips which OC better than the Qimonda chips that were standard.

I wish I knew how to identify 1 in advance!
