Hey,

After reading a ton about this I think I am ready to try my first OC.
Just one question remaining.

In my BIOS I have a setting under my FSB & Memory Configuration option.
I can set it to [Auto] [Linked] [Unlinked] [Sync Mode].

I guess the names are kinda self explanatory but what exactly are these different settings doing?
What one should I be using? If Linked what Ratio?

Cheers

The settings [Auto] [Linked] [Unlinked] [Sync Mode] are all to do with if your FSB and RAM speed is linked or not ... I would set it to Unlinked, that way you can top out your CPU without worrying about your RAM keeping up .. Then when you're happy with your CPU overclock you could start increasing the RAM speed until that maxes out ..

Its one of the best features of nvidia's 6xx and 7xx series boards ..
