I just switched to the SMP client a couple of days ago, and yesterday it finished the first WU. Now it has been trying to return the WU all night, but no luck. My Internet works fine, so it must be a problem with the client.
Here is how it looks in the log:

Code:
[06:15:00] - Autosending finished units...
[06:15:00] Trying to send all finished work units

[06:15:00] + Attempting to send results
[06:15:00] - Reading file work/wuresults_01.dat from core
[06:15:00] (Read 5558826 bytes from disk)
[06:15:31] Couldn't send HTTP request to server (wininet)
[06:15:31] + Could not connect to Work Server (results)
[06:15:31] (171.64.65.64:8080)
[06:15:31] - Error: Could not transmit unit 01 (completed March 21) to work server.
[06:15:31] - 7 failed uploads of this unit.

[06:16:07] + Sent 0 of 1 completed units to the server

Any ideas why this happens?

Don't quote me for sure on this, but I believe that (wininet) part has something to do with answering yes to Use Internet Explorer settings. I would stop the client by using the Ctrl+C method, and restart it with the -configonly flag. Leave pretty much everything the way it is, except for answering no to the Use Internet Explorer settings. If that doesn't fix you up, I am sure someone will be around later to help get you fixed up.
