Abit IP35 Pro XE.......

Looking around the Abit forums and i stumbled across this, anyone know when i can get ahold of one of these? Im liking the original IP35 Pro, but seems this is the upgraded version with a few minor tweaks. If anyone knows when this board is able for purchasing, please let me know.

Yea me too....Im deff liking the black coating instead of the copper, goes well with the rest of the parts on the board. Its all in personal preference tho.

There are some changes to the hardware but what they are I can't tell you. Have a look at this post @ abit and look at them side by side. He put a red box around the changed area he found. There could be more changes we didn't see of course, but it does look very familiar.

SLI is a proprietary product of nVidia and they hold it very close. You can only run it with nVidia chipsets (without hacked drivers). The XE can, however, run crossfire. Two 3870x2's would do you nicely. :beer:
