When my VGA returns from RMA I am going to empty my system and add a mcres. with my current set up, and the fact that I am using a small case, it is quite the pain to drain using a t line.

since space is tight, the res will be externally mounted. my question is: Would I be better making a large loop of tubing coming out of the case (picture a C kinda like loop coming from case to the res) or am I better off using 1/2" diam copper bends (i ahve 45s and 90s)?

Thanks

It depends on how much extra tubing it will create. If you are talking 2+ feet, then I would do 2 45º bends. Don't use 90º unless you absolutely must.

If it is less than 2ft, I wouldn't worry about it unless it is making extremely sharp corners.
