Company of Heroes Freezes on loading- help!

Hi. I am trying to run Company of Heroes on my sys. I bought the game off steam and everything runs until we get to the part after the Divx logo screen. Once this happens, the game freezes and my audio starts screeching. I then have to reset the computer.

I just built this computer so there shouldn't be any hardware issues.
Specs:
Asus P5Q3 Delux
Q9450 2.66Ghz
ATI HD 4870
4gb OCZ DDR3 1333mhz
2x150gb sata western digital raptor
750W psu...
etc.


Can anyone help!?

Can you just delete or rename the divx logo so it doesn't play? Some games will continue to the next logo or main menu just fine with missing intro vids.

see if u need to update the realtek drivers and also check out their faq's they have been helpful to me in the past for cod 4. also if its not on the net, get it on to get any other updates for the game or otherwise!
