CPU: AMD Phenom 8450 (2.5Ghz)
Ram: OCZ 2GB (2x1GB) 1066MHz PC8500 OCZ2N1066SR2GK
Mobo: BIOSTAR TA790GX
I was running old ddr2 800 in which I was able to OC my cpu. I was able to raze the HT Reference clock over 235. I then installed new OCZ 1066MHz, now the computer locks when the HT Reference clock is set above 205.
I know the X3 is not a great Overclocker but why would adding faster ram make my system do this?
