It entirely depends on what you want to do.
For HTPC stuff, your's should suffice, as afaik both cards share the same decoder engine.

For gaming, it'll be an improvement, but a very small one. Don't think of tackling anything remotely new with it.
Get a HD4670, it's what I'd consider minimum for fluid gaming. Its not even expensive...
 
According to This techpowerup review the HD 2400 Pro has 28% of the performance of a 3650 overall, that would be a 4x-5x increase in speed..

I would agree with with Alastayr, though, in getting a hd4 series cards, though..

The 4550 costs exactly the same as the 3650, I don't know how it compares, though..
