dropped plug on laptop screen

ive just dropped a plug on my laptop screen, and its scratched it. its just the surface, what can i do?

its not cracked or anything, but just a scratch, i thought it was dirt and tried to rub it off..

i was typing all sorts of things but you aced it for me..

i will now find some vaseline, and a cloth before handing the laptop back !
