CPU temp monitoring.

Ok this is probly a newbi ? but as I am a newbi there only stupid ? is the 1 not Asked. Can anyone tell me how I can monitor my cpu temp, fan speeds etc while in win 98?

Go to google.com and search "Download Motherboard Monitor"

It should be one of the first links with the word "live" or something in the URL(Not too sure).

And you should open up the settings click on the temperature tab and setup all your sensors.

Save settings open the dashboard and voila!

PS: Next time post under the correct board ie: Other Programs.

If you really want to know what your temps are doing, check out this guide from the tips section on the home page. It's kind of intense, but not so tough, and this way you really know, don't have to wonder if your board is giving you screwy answers.

If you don't like MBM5 or can't get it to work (like myself), try this one, which measures voltages, fan RPMs, tempertaures of CPU and chassis, and even hard drive internal temperature, if supported: Speedfan 4.02

I use VIAs Hardware Monitor but you need a VIA chipset to do that.
