Does Anyone's KZ2 Load Slower? (During Levels)

Since the latest 1.24 patch and the 1.25 patch loading during a any level in Killzone 2 is slower it started with 1.24 but seems to be regular with 1.25 now. I talking about the stream loading where you walk through and like Halo loads the next part when I 1st got KZ2 it was about 1 sec now it stalls to about 5 secs.

I have the PS3 40GB with a WD 160GB 5,400 SATA-150 HDD upgrade with 114GB free I have also heard online is now slightly laggy with the new patches???? I haven't been online yet still can't be arsed currently playing Tom Clancy's HAWX a lot.
