Heya everyone.

Quick question about AMD Fusion utility....

Alot of people in my gaming community are touting the benefits of this AMD fusion utility. Ive never heard of it. Supposedly it disables background services in order to boost gaming performance and enhances CPU performance.

There is also a "hack" of some sorts to allow it to be used on Intel CPUs.

Is this bunk? Is there any benefit to this or is it just nonsense? Im completely ignorant, and cant find any detailed info on this process. Considering that most gaming rigs are HIGHLY CPU bottlenecked any CPU performance enhancements should in theory enhance overall performance. Of course, I wonder what the true benefit would be in my rig with a GTX285 and an E8600 at 5ghz under water :p

I also find that gamers are typically the worst group of individuals for genuine tech information. There is so much heresay and nonsense with little testing or science behind 99% of what most gamers claim to help.

THF info for using fusion on Intel (Yea I know....THF...but thats the only place Ive found the info on this process.....)
