Ultra LSP750 quality or not

Can I get some info on the quality of this psu

it is for a friend who has been having hardware die (mobo, video card) and I was wondering if it could be traced to the psu, he doesn't oc either.

Ultra doesn't exactly have a good reputation, but i don't know anything about that specific PSU.

What kind of budget are you looking at? For that price you could get a Corsair. An Antec Earthwatts would be the model I would recommend if you are trying to save some money. They are Seasonic built, but I think they are mid range. I have done quite a few budget builds for clients with them, and haven't had any problems with any of them.
