I followed the tutorial by Thideras in David's stickied thread and I thought the first couple of WUs were running fine and now the last 3 WUs failed.

This is what I see in the log file now:

I've downloaded the latest Nvidia drivers as well as try the Cuda drivers, as well as use Drivesweeper to delete the driver and I'm still getting failed WUs.

I'm now using the driver file: cudadriver_2.3_winvista_64_190.38_general.exe

The last WU hung at 8%.

I have the shader back at factory specs. The only thing I have OCed now is the CPU @ 2.8Ghz.

I'm also running F@H SMP in VM/Ubuntu.

What am I doing wrong?

This mabe your problem using the latest Cuda 2.3 revert back to the Cuda 2.2 DLL,s that come with Nvida Driver

What card? 9500GT? If so, you're probably going to have to run 18x.xx drivers and even then it may not be stable enough to fold. The 9500 GT only has 32 shader processors and, as you may find, some of them won't fold at all.

For $35 (newegg with rebate) you could upgrade to a 9600 GSO (96sp) and make from 2900-4300 ppd depending on the WU and the OC you are able to run.

Ah man. I just got this card. :(

I shoulda asked you guys before buying something about which I knew nothing. Well, the 9600 GSO just may be my best option then. Thanks Chas.

And I finally did get the GPU folding, but let's see if it can even get through a WU.

Well, it looks like the 9500GT got hung up again.

That's it for my attempt at folding with this one. :(
