ex58-ud3r.. hot crossfire

seriously could they have put the pcie slots any closer!??
my 4890s have got like, no air to breathe
luckily i put a fan on the side but the top card is still hot as in games
the bottom one sometimes just scrapes 80 on the memory
but the top card hits 95 all over and probably high if i leave it
so yea i cant play games properly cause the stupid top card gets too hot
far out man.. ill show you guys a picture or two tomorrow
i cant be bothered right now lol, just felt like complaining to someone

Yeah I noticed alot of the X58 board have the PCIE slots too close together. I got lucky with my MSI board as the PCIE slots are very far apart. Enough space between the slots that my 4850's have Scythe Musashi coolers on them and still plenty of space left.

Yeah, that configuration sucks for air but I bet it would be ideal for setting up a loop on your vid cards for watercooling.

yea thats right, and i only get about 6mbs down and 300kbs up
and thats ABOVE average
australia is like, the most stone aged developed country when it comes to internet

Kind of sounds like that stupid satellite broadband I was on until a few years ago. Frickin metered bandwidth really sucks.
