Upgrading My PC

Due to the recent event with my pc posted HERE I decided that if I have to redo the drives I will just upgrade what I can, so, I would like to read some feed back from all that can help. My current config is what you see in my sig and I want to upgrade what I can for now. Here is what I came up with so far.

Graphic Card

Motherboard

Power Supply
If I do not have to upgrade then I will not

CPU

SSD

I am hoping I can still use my existing ram for now until I am able to afford to upgrade....

Unfortunately, you won't be able to use your RAM since it's DDR2 and X58 uses DDR3.

What's your current PSU?

If this will work then I will use the funds from the Corsair psu to buy RAM...

Fermi cards run hot and suck a lot of power... I'd just get a 5870; $100 cheaper, cooler, only a bit slower.
That motherboard is nice, but expensive.
I like the RAM and CPU.
Your current PSU is just fine.
