Which (LQ) parts are in this picture?

GPU/CPU blocks, resevoir, hoses, etc.





Unrelated question: I have a similar build to this one (modded TJ07, not murderbox though). I was thinking of switching to Nexus Real Silent fans (black + white) or painting some Noctuas to that color scheme. Would black, white and red be overkill? Should I stay with just black and red? I was thinking I could use a few white cable sleeves as accents as well with a white led strip at the top or bottom (out of sight).

as much dark as there is in that pic some white and red sleeving would work very well. maybe paint the rad red and do more sleeving in white might work too

EK res, EK VGA block, Heatkiller Rev3 LT, probably a HWL Black Ice rad, MDPC/MM sleeving, a couple of Bitspower stops and at least one dual rotary 90, and what I believe is Primochill tubing, rather than Tygon. Though *could* be XSPC. Rad might also be XSPC, looking at that almost visible imprint on its side.

Is $500 a realistic budget for this quality of setup?

More than enough. I don't see the pump pictured, but even with that included, you're looking at less than $500. It isn't a complex or expensive system.

ok, is it just me or is that board upsidedown? I suppose it's because the case has the mobo tray in the left side, not the right side...but i still don't think it looks quite right (might be a trick of the eye.)

yeah, it's an inverted mobo which is what I have as well. this means that the window is on the right instead of the left. my (inverted) backplate is going to have something cut into it.

what about a surveilance camera with its cord in an abstract shape (like a squiggly line). would kinda be a hats off to murderbox as well ;-)
could have the line run into the pc, or have its end frayed (like its been cut)

was also thinking of putting the "ONE NATION UNDER CCTV" (as done by banksy, with dripping paint) cutout on the non-window side with acrylic behind it.

I'd like to see it done, but it sounds sweet (though...the sayings are a little cheesy, if you get em in a badass font, it shouldn't matter). Maybe just pick 1 saying, it feels too wordy imo...needs to be an at a glance thing.

yeah.. i was just thinking the text could also serve as a vent in the back (because I will have an acrylic window on the top rather than mesh).

I plan on only using only 2 elements, 1 graphic (CCTV camera) and 1 text (one of the ones I mentioned). If I do get my screen name, it'll be a font that is difficult to read that looks cool (like the ones I linked above).

Want to keep it subtle/stylish.

anything with the uppercase r won't work without mounting it on some acrylic or something like that (you could do a smoky red acrylic or somethin like that...bet that'd look good) unless you connect the center (or ditch it the middle...). The supeme font looks good for an overall title of the build, like if you were to do it on the side of the case or something, it'd be too fragile small, even if you could manage to cut it.
