6 pin connector for radeon 5770 vapor-x

Hi there,I'm going to buy a Radeon 5770 vapor-x due to his cooling system and maybe i'll oc it a bit,my question is:
I've got a 8 pin slot in my power source, the graphic card needs a 6 pin one.
Does 6 pin fits in the 8 pin without any problem, or should i get a 6 from 8 pin converter (if there is one).
Thanks in advance
Best regards

some 8 pins are 6+2...which means that 2 of the 8 pins arent attached to the male end of the plug, so you can use it as either a 6 pin or 8 pin. if yours doesnt have that kind of end on it, most video cards come with a 2x molex -> 6 pin pcie....so you will be fine either way
