ati radeon drivers

tried to install ati's newest (beta) drivers for my ati radeon 32mb ddr card.. well i dont know what happened exactly, it gave me an error message said it couldnt find some atiblahblah.blah file.. i had to restart, and my screen was blank.. took me 2 hours but i finally got everything half assed i put the drivers that came with my card back on (tried to).. cept all my programs say i have a radeon le x86 ddr or something like that.. how do i get the best drivers for gaming on this card? what ARE the best ones? thanks for all the help guys

It's hard to say which is the best.

Alot of people say the Omega drivers are the best. I used them and they're fine.

I personally like sticking with non-beta drivers though, so I'm using the newest at www.ati.com
