Does anyone know what the 5th L1 bridge is for on an xp 2000+, I have only seen referance to 4 bridges going from the L1
You mustve been looking at the older Thunderbird L1s;)

no old tbirds have 4 l1s
xp have 5
the 5th connects to the new L10 bridge that the xp needs to get higher muntis then 12.5 x
higher than 12.5x requires five digits in binary (four digits =16 in base 10, equalling 5, 5.5, 6, 6.5x and so forth to 12.5x, then you go to 5 digit number to getr over 12.5x)
binary: on/off swicthes, 4 in a row, can do 16 combinations, 5 in a row opens up 32 combinations, representing 5x to 22x
