Sure

But I would get an AM3+ MB for the ability to upgrade to Bulldozer later. Or just wait for Bulldozer.

AMD's long delayed newest processor. It's suppose to be release the end of this month. It's suppose to be an entire new architecture and is AMD's answer to Intel's Sandy Bridge processors. Sandy Bridge have been out a while now and is running circles around current AMD processors.

Mighty old motherboard and chipset you are looking at. Old HT 1.0 and not HT 3.0 and that is not even talking about coming bulldozer cpu and upgrade path.

How do you guys know what mb will support the BD since it has not come out yet ????? I have not seen any updates for the bios saying that it will support the BD...

Bulldozer/AM3+ motherboards have already been released and are able to be bought.

Those boards will support BD no problem, if memory serves correctly...
