Yeah it's only SATA II and one of the slower SSDs but still...
EDIT: $50 of the rebate is an Amex card after you subscribed to some CA subscription. Not sure what that means.
EDIT: The subscription is $49.99. So if you don't forget to cancel it you'll have a whopping $0.01 rebate!!! Forget about it. Flaky advertising to say the least.

Good question. I complained with TigerDirect that it's unclear what you have to sign up for before getting the rebate.

I was looking at this, and they say the rebate is only valid with a 1 year subscription....so my guess is that you need to provide some sort of proof on the rebate form of the 1 year contract. Since we dont know the price on the yearlong subscription, who even knows if this is a good deal or not?!?!

I just went with this 160GB Intel SSD because it came with a $120 rebate and seemed like a good deal to me. But the price went up since yesterday. I paid $263.28 for it including next day shipping costs.

Forget about it...

TigerDirect responded: The CA subscription is $49.99 a year.
So forget about it.
