Hello! I built a new PC a couple weeks ago and am having problems with fan readings. I'm looking at Monitor in the (updated) BIOS and System Info in AI Suite 3. I have not changed any default fan settings. No overclocking so far except for DRAM XMP. Here's what I'm getting: (Watch the front fan.)
Original Fan Configuration

Swapped fans connected to Fan2 and Fan4 to see if motherboard or fan was faulty.

Hmm..., bad fan, right? Swapped front fan to Fan3 to verify bad fan.

OK, bad fan. Bought a new one. I GET THE SAME RESULTS! How can this be?
Alright, the acid text. Set up original configuration then moved the case top 200mm fan (which had been reporting a good reading) to Fan4 and moved the front 200mm fan to CPU Opt.
CPUOpt Front CM200mm 770
Fan4 ===Case top CM200mm 510===
Now the front fan is reading OK and the top fan is reading bad. This is screwy. Any idea what's going on?
