I have an Athlon 500MHz in a GigaByte GA 7 IX motherboard with 448Mb memory and GForce 2 MX 400 64mb...i used cpufsb program, but when i try to change FSB from 100 MHz to 120MHz, my PC locks and i don´t have any program that changes FSB in a smaller gap...Please help me to put my PC in FIRE! My Gforce 2 makes 2376 :( in 3DMark 2001 in 800X600 16Bits...it´s very small!!!! Help me! THANKS... Ricardo from Portugal:D

I'm confused! You want to save your put your pc in fire?
In both cases if your pc freezes restore BIOS default settings by consulting your manual. It's a jumper switch.
If you want to o/c there are many advices through the forums.
Read them :)

I think he means ON fire..as in faster...
But Im confused..according to PW that mobo is a socket A board based on the KT133e chipset...
I have never seen a 500mhz Socket A athlon..only a Slot A Clasic Athlon....

You sure you have a 500mhz socket A Athlon???
May want to get the correct CPU speed before you start overclocking....
