How is the 8k3a+?

I've done lots of reading, but I havent read anything on the onboard sound, and a lot of other stuff with this board.

I'm building a new system for myself and for a friend of mine, and I plan on using this board for both systems. But, I only have $1000 to work with for my friend system, and he needs EVERYTHING! That means I won't be able to afford a sound card.

How is the onboard audio?

How is this board in general? Should I use it and be happy?

the new board has 6 channel onboard sound...supposedly GREAT sound

the board over all has gotten some VERY good ratings from LOTS-O-PEOPLE...can't wait till i get mine

I read a review that said there's no 1/5 PCI divider. Other reviews say there is one.

What's going on here?

Thanks. As I edited above, I'm wondering about whether there's a 1/5 PCI divider. Some say there is one, some say there isn't.

Edit - nevermind, found out that a BIOS update fixes that.

there are a lot of gripes at amdmb.com forums, looks like not many people can go over 200 hz fsb, many RAM'd boards , etc...
