All those with 3/8" ID hose barbs please read! Urgent

Sorry to do this, but I am going to machine shop and I need to know the OD of 3/8"ID hose barbs. I plan on using them in my water block and need to tell him what size hole I need to have threaded. Thank you.

If you mean the brass ones then the hole before you tap it must be 37/64". I have also seen nylon ones with the same pipe threading.
