read in another post that your board died...do you think it was a bad flash? i just dl'ed the bios th other day, but haven't gotten around to flashing.

nah dude the board just died, when i was playing medal of honor it locked up and then when i tried to restart it was giving all these beeps and then after turning the power off and on it didnt come on.

i just tried the 7i bios, this morning. i couldn't get past the loading part in xp where the dashed line becomes solid...tried everything. luckily, i did the oldbion.bin thing and was able to flash with the old bios. everything back to normal, now. coincidence? anyone else try this bios?

for some reason, the bios dl pages haven't been up for a few days. not sure why. here's the link, tho:

if you're looking for more voltage, do the wire mod. mr n isn't doing bios' with more voltage b/c of the cold boot issue. it is safe and easy to do as long as you use a very small wire. i've heard of ppl breaking off pins, but i don't know how that could happen with a small enough wire. i would think the wire would break before a pin. that, and you don't need gorilla power, just enough tension so that it won't slide off.
