256bit WEP-encryption question

I just replaced my old 11Mb router/ap with a new 54MB router/ap. I've been using 128bit WEP so far, but the new one supports 256bit WEP. My laptop has integrated broadcom 54Mb wireless but I can't find out if it supports 256bit WEP. Is it a capability of the hardware or is it integrated in WindowsXP with Service Pack 2? I wanna know for sure before I reconfigure my WLAN setup only to find out 256bit isn't gonna happen on my laptop...

Its a card based thing, look on manufactures website or something.

But I havn't seen many cards supporting 256
