Still not seeing any good reviews or testimonials of people actually getting them to 1200 or 1066 cas5 at such low vdimm.

There is a lot of speculation at XS that these are DDR3 ICs on DDR2 PCBs. Tony said he would share info on the ICs in eight weeks.

Wow. OCZ sells nearly all the high speed ddr2 on newegg.

Considering my run of luck with OCZ... I will wait for more reviews.

Note he found 900-1000mhz @cas4 performed better than 1200@cas5.
My g.skill can do 850mhz cas4 easy, haven't really tested beyond that, but that isn't far off for the cheapest ddr2 in the land.

1000 cas4 from the latest post on XS. 1200+ cas5 (these are not on engineerining samples). I'll chime in after I get mine...probably tomorrow.

Tony is basically saying that in 8 weeks someone will probably have figured it out or taken off the heatspreader. He ain't gonna say what they are in 8 weeks or 8 months.

I'd think someone would be taking off a heat spreader that knows RAM real soon, yeah, just to see whats in there.
