I just got an i7-930 combo yesterday and planning to use a VX cooler with it.
BUT...
I got this cooler bought for $30 a couple of weeks ago...it looks so promising so why not?
For now, I'm testing this cool out....and would like to keep it "anonymous" as continuing to see how far it would take on i7-930.
I'll tell you later of what it is.

Cooler Specs:
It came with 2 - 120mm PWM fan for PUSH/PULL cooling
4 - 8mm diameter HDT

A few bios settings up in the air shoots straight from stock to 180*22 = 3960MHz

It's made by RAIDMAX model X3 and available online or

instore purchase at Fry's item #6200910
I've googled but no luck at anywhere beside Fry's. It has a great mounting system very quick and easy.

....the only difference is....I bought it onsale $29.99 about 2 weeks ago. :)

6 notches of vcore increase from previous was required for stability at this clock 4200MHz
Room ambient was around 75F

So, what do you think guys?
Is this a good cooler for 30 bucks?

It's definitely good for those i3, i5 series...and maybe for i7-860?

I was thinking about getting an H50, but for $30, I'd get that one...Whered you get it if you're ready to tell..??.

Nice. Beats my $40 Cooler master Hyper 212+ on i5-750. What thermal paste are you running on that? If you don't mind telling us, of course.

I've been using Artic Cooling MX-2 for awhile. I love it.
The best place to buy with lowest possible price on this MX-2 is at EWIZ.com
