I notice most 7600s don't overclock much more than 600 on core, 800 on memory. Default it 560/700.

Is this limited by the lack of an external power connector?

I dunno if it is limited by not having an external connector, but I know it's limited by voltage. My temps are great OCed @ 600/800. I haven't tried OCing more yet though.

Supposedly there's a volt mod for this card. I'll have to dig it up and see.

Here we go, found it!

Supposedly you can probably get up to 625 or 650 on the core with the pencil mod. The video on how to do it is there. Now there are reports of people reaching 700 core with it. They're supposedly using this: http://sg.vr-zone.com/?i=3101 . A PCI-E power booster. Unfortunately the pictures are broken on that.

Man, this really makes me wanna mod my 7600GT badly. :)

Thanks Papier. Mine should be here tomorrow, so I'll keep that in mind :)

Not every 7600GT is the same. Some are better than others at OCing. First rule of OCing: YMMV. :p

I'm gonna see the max I can do tonight.
