A DDR2 puzzle. RAM that only works in a Dell Optiplex 520.

Samsung M378T5663EH3-CF7 2GB 2RX8 PC2-6400

I've tried them in several other systems where the specifications of the DIMMs should be fast enough or higher, the arrangement and other specifications matches some Hynix 2GB DIMMs that have worked in every system I've tried them in.

Yet for some reason these Samsung sticks will only work in some rather useless Optiplex 520 doorstops. Since those only have two slots I'd have to find something to do with two 520's, maxed out to 4 gig each, in order to have not wasted the money I spent on the RAM for another system. (I had two Hynix sticks that worked in it so I used info from CPU-Z to ensure I got two more identical sticks.)

If only they worked in my Optiplex 760 or 755 SFF units, or *anything else*.

*Hums "What can you do with a useless Optiplex?" to the tune of "What can you do with a drunken sailor?"*
