Hey guys,

Im fixing my friends comp and I notice the temp readings are weird. Using both Speedfan and the Bios readings, the temps jump up and down, for example, it goes from 48 to 51 to 47; or 54 to 58. This is happening when its on load or idle. I checked the heatsink to make sure its firmly touching the cpu already. The most I've seen it go up to was 58 then back to 54 in a second. I also ran prime95 blend test and it can run for 3 hours and 54 mins at the most since I oc'ed it to 200 FSB x11. Heres the spec

Asus A7N8X-X w/ 1010 Bios
Barton 2500+ w/ Thermalright SLK 800 HSF
Buffalo 512 DDR400
WD 80 gig SE
Antec Smartpower 350 PS

Also, I have an external sensor.diode that I can plug into the mobo and get the reading from that but where do I plug it into? It has a 2 pin jumper connector.
