I have an Abit IP-35 Pro motherboard and a Q9400 CPU and I can't seem to get Virtualization to be enabled. I'm trying to do XP Mode within my 7 Ultimate 64-bit install to use some older programs I have but it won't allow me to do it because VT isn't enabled. I'm pretty sure the Q9400 supports VT and I've read that the IP35-Pro does as well but I can't find the setting for it anywhere in the BIOS. I believe I have BIOS 14, should I update to the new BIOS 17? I really need to get XP going here and I don't want to dual boot. Thanks!

Try playing with your RAM settings.
Use the default voltage 1.8V or default RAM speed.

Read this somewhere else and it worked for me!

For anyone who still needs fix for Abit IP35 Pro VT-x bug, there you go:

Patched with generic_bios_virtualization_fix1 by Mihai Hanor.

I'm currently using this and VT-x bug is gone. Remember that you will flash your bios at your own risk. I will not take any responsibility if you fail to flash the bios.
