Abit has announced the IT7-MAX2, which adds back the PS/2 mouse & keyboard connectors that the IT7-MAX omitted, and replaces two of the ATA133 RAID ports with serial ATA ports. Please add information and experiences as they become available.

I wonder if this new board will have the A4 bios/XP usb problem sorted out...

I was just about to jump on the IT7-MAX when I read about this. I figured it might be a good idea to hold off a bit to see if ABIT comes up with a fix.

I guess this is as good a place as any to ask: Which board would you prefer - the BD-7II or the IT7-MAX2?

yeah hopefully it will be fixed as well as the messed up tempearture readers.

I thought the bad temps were on the BD7 II...

they are on the it7 as well they use the same temp monitor.
