That's basic/efficient problem solving, to be able to hit the target he needed to remove the obstacle (operator), when told he couldn't touch the obstacle, he removed the comms tower instead. No AI here

LOL. In today's world Asimov would've been arrested for sexual battery for his butt pinching proclivities -- but the 1950's and 1960's were a different era. Harlan Ellison once publicly grabbed a woman sci-fi author's breasts during a ceremony at which she was being honored. Some say Gene Roddenberry raped Grace Lee Whitney shortly before she was let-go from TOS -- an incident which scarred her for life.

Seriously doubt it would make any difference, celebrities get away with nearly everything nowadays. Just look at how many "artists" went to rehab instead of jail over the years, or how many life long scam artists are in politics or religion/cults
